SOB AUDIO IMAGING is housed in a beautiful old mansion called Hofstede ’Oud-Bussem’. It’s the home of SOB, the Strengholt Group and a few other cool media-related companies like record companies (Purple Eye), music publishing companies, a book-publisher, Tendris Holding and Cyrte Investments.
Here’s how you can get there:
From Amsterdam:
-Follow Highway A1 in the direction of Amersfoort
-Take the exit no. 7 with sign ’Bussum’
-On this exit keep right in the direction of ’Naarden’ & ’Jan Tabak’
-At traffic-lights turn right to ’Valkeveen/Huizen’
-Follow this road for about 1 km (a.o. over fly-over, pass 2 little houses (on your right and left, with red /green shutters) and further via this winding road) until the crossing of ’Bollelaan/Flevolaan’.
-At this crossing turn to right, which is the Flevolaan (sign says ’Bikbergen’)
-After a couple of hundred meters our building is on the left hand side.
From the South:
-Follow highway A27 in de direction of ’Utrecht/Almere’
-After the exit ’Hilversum’ take exit with sign ’ Amersfoort/Amsterdam’ (=highway A1); following this exit pursue in the direction of ’Amsterdam’
-Follow highway A1 and take exit no. 7 with sign ’Bussum/Naarden’
-On this exit keep right in the direction of ’Naarden’ & ’Jan Tabak’
-At traffic-lights turn right to ’Valkeveen/Huizen’
-Follow this road for about 1 km (a.o. over fly-over, pass 2 little houses (on your right and left, with red /green shutters) and further via this winding road) until the crossing of ’Bollelaan/Flevolaan’.
-At this crossing turn to right, which is the Flevolaan (sign says ’Bikbergen’)

From the East:
-Follow Highway A1 in the direction of Amsterdam
-Take exit no. 7 with sign ’Bussum/Naarden’
-On this exit keep right in the direction of ’Naarden’ & ’Jan Tabak’

By Train:
-Go to train station "Naarden-Bussum"
Take a taxi and ask the driver to go to the Flevolaan and mention it’s the "Strengholt-building" in Hofstede ’Oud-Bussem’, or
Take the 100 bus (called "Regioliner"), get out at the busstop "Flevolaan". Walk back 20 meters and turn left into the Flevolaan. Walk about 200 meters (you’ll notice a sign that says "Bikbergen" - you’re fine there) and you’ll see the Hofstede ’Oud-Bussem’ on your left hand side.
Route naar SOB:
Vanuit richtinq AMSTERDAM:
- Autosnelweg A1 / E231.
- Afrit richting > Bussum.
- Op T‑kruising rechtsaf richting > Naarden (Jan Tabak).
- Bij stoplichten rechtsaf (richting > Valkeveen/Huizen aanhouden).
- Deze weg 1.300 m. volgen: over viaduct (A1), langs twee voormalige brugwachtershuisjes (met rood/groene luiken) en verder via deze slingerweg tot kruispunt Bollelaan/Flevolaan.
- Op dit kruispunt rechtsaf richting > Bikbergen.
- Na een paar 100 m. ligt links ‘Hofstede Oud-Bussem’ (met een groot rieten dak).
Vanuit richtinq UTRECHT:
- Autosnelweg A27 / E311 richting > Almere.
- Afrit richting > Amsterdam/Amersfoort - A1.
- Op deze afrit richting > Amsterdam A1 aanhouden.
- Autosnelweg A1 / E232 volgen en afrit > Bussum/Naarden nemen.
- Op deze afrit rechtsaf richting > Naarden (Jan Tabak).
- Bij stoplichten rechtsaf (richting > Valkeveen/Huizen aanhouden).
- Deze weg 1.300 m. volgen: over viaduct (A1), langs twee voormalige brugwachtershuisjes (met rood/groene luiken) en verder via deze slingerweq tot kruispunt Bollelaan/Flevolaan.

Vanuit richting OOST‑NEDERLAND (Zwolle A28 / E232 en Henqelo A1 / E231):
- Vanaf verkeersknooppunt Hoevelaken (bij Amersfoort) autosnelweg A1 / E231 richting > Amsterdam volgen.
- Op A1 afrit richting > Bussum/Naarden.
- Op deze afrit rechtsaf richting > Naarden (Jan Tabak).
- Bij stoplichten rechtsaf (richting > Valkeveen/Huizen aanhouden).
- Deze weg 1.300 m. volgen: over viaduct (A1), langs twee voormalige brugwachtershuisjes (met rood/groene luiken) en verder via deze slingerweq tot kruispunt Bollelaan/Flevolaan.
- Op dit kruispunt rechtsaf richting > Bikbergen.

Openbaar vervoer:
Neem de trein naar station Naarden-Bussum. Vanaf daar met de taxi (naar Flevolaan 41, oftewel het Strengholt-gebouw, naast het Plankenierstheater) of met de bus: Regioliner 100 richting Hilversum. Uitstappen bij halte Flevolaan, 20 m teruglopen naar de grote kruising, daar LINKSAF de Flevolaan inlopen (richting Bikbergen). Na ca. 300 meter zie je links een grote parkeerplaats bij de Hofstede "Oud-Bussem", een grote boerenhofstede met een immens rieten dak en 5 vleugels.
